
“The 1st National Congress on Road Accidents “
Batna 2 University - Chahid Moustafa Ben Boulaïd, through the Department of Mechanical Engineering, is co-organizing with the National School of Applied Techniques for Land Transport (ENATT-Batna) the 1st National Congress on Road Accidents in its first edition in the city of Batna. According to the WHO, over 1.4 million people die each year due to road accidents, and this number continues to increase day by day. Road accidents are now considered a global public health problem, and the case of Algeria is more than alarming. This congress is seen as a gateway for the exchange of up-to-date information on road accidents and road safety, in terms of applied research, innovations, and scientific studies aimed at improving road safety and reducing accidents.
The different Algerian stakeholders involved in this congress are mainly experts, academics, and governmental and non-governmental organizations that have conducted research and work related to the objectives and themes of the congress.
