The Maurice Audin Prize for Mathematics is awarded every two years to a winner working in Algeria and another winner working in France. Each winner will receive six thousand (6,000) euros or the equivalent in Algerian dinars.

It was set up in partnership between the Académie des sciences de France, the Société Mathématique de France, the Association Josette and Maurice Audin, the Société de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles on one hand, and the Directorate-General for Scientific Research and Technological Development of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the other hand.
